Editorial

Language is central to the ways individuals and communities construct meaning, preserve knowledge, negotiate identity and participate in social life. In an increasingly interconnected world, the study of languages must respond to changing patterns of communication, technological innovation, cultural exchange and educational practice.

The Zuba Journal of the School of Languages (ZJSL) is conceived as a forum for careful, evidence-based scholarship on these questions. It encourages interdisciplinary approaches that connect linguistic theory with classroom practice, literary interpretation with social experience, and communication research with the realities of contemporary life.

Through the publication of original and critical research, the journal aims to support scholarly dialogue, strengthen language education and contribute to the continuing development of knowledge within and beyond the School of Languages.
